This site is the project. Every page you've clicked through to get here — the homepage, the case studies, this one — I designed and coded myself, from a blank file up.

The real challenge wasn't any single page, it was the system underneath: one aesthetic template that had to stay calm and consistent while holding work as different as a hand-drawn poster, a Game Boy game and a printed publication, each with its own colour, mood and format.

The solution was to strip colour out by default — every image sits in grayscale until you hover it — so the grid itself stays neutral and each project's own palette gets to announce itself, rather than fighting for attention. Built with plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, no framework, so adding a new project only ever means dropping in an image, a title and a tag.
